Stretch marks

I read that 90% of women get stretch marks during pregnancy. Thought id test that out here. Do you have them from pregnancy? If you have them from non pregnancy related growth, exclude that.

I haven't had any new ones show up yet. That being said, I have some already on my hips/thighs from previous weight gain/loss that I think are even more noticeable now. So I'm expecting to wake up to some marks anyday now.

I have a few from puberty but nothing from pregnancy... Yet. My stomach is super tight and red-ish. I can't imagine I will make it another six weeks without stretch marks. We will see!

I don't have them yet, but I keep waiting for them to pop up. My belly was VERY itchy a couple of weeks ago and I thought I'd get them then, but nope. Still waiting and expecting them when I wake up in the morning.

SS jinxing myself for replying to this post, but I only have some small white ones on my love handles. That they're white tells me they could have actually been from previous weight gain aka freshman 15. Unclear.

Got them on my asscheeks weeks ago. Now they are starting right above my bikini line. I can only see them if I hold a mirror under my belly.

Only 32 weeks here, haven't seen any but my sister had them at 16 weeks and our mother had them also. I don't think I'm going to make it out without them but we'll see

I got them in my first pregnancy; after DS was born they faded to white, and then reappeared (in red) in subsequent pregnancies, but the redness hasn't come back yet this time around. I still have six weeks, though, so it could just be a matter of time.

I've been wondering about this too, when they generally appear. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and none yet, I keep waiting for them to show up. If you got them in a previous pregnancy, around what week did they appear?

It seems every time I say "I don't have (fill in common pregnancy ailment)" I develop it within the next couple weeks.

Like the whole feet swelling thing was great until I bragged about how my feet were just fine and now they are swelling all to hell.

So, with that said, I have TONS of stretch marks ALL OVER. Yup.

I got them between 37-38 weeks last time. I'm fairly certain I don't have new ones as of now but LO is so low I can't see my under-belly.

I am just starting to see what I think is going to turn into a few stretch marks on my lower belly even though I didn't get any in my first two pregnancies and made it to week 35! But it could be worse so I'm not complaining

I voted yes, but they are actually only on my boobs so far which have gotten HUGE! My stomach is pretty big right now since I'm carrying all in front but thus far does not have any, who knows if that will last or not...

I have a few around my belly button. I'm not sure if they are all from last time or new, though! They are extremely light & I didn't notice them when I wasn't pregnant unless I was really looking for them. Hopefully it will be the same this time after my stomach deflates!

Last time I had a couple thin ones pop up in the very last few weeks. This time they started a few weeks ago. Yet are also very thin, and right around my belly button. We will see what happens; there are still several weeks left for LO and I.

Yeeeep. Started getting them on my upper belly at about 30 weeks. At first I was kinda sad but now I could honestly care less. DH doesn't care either so that helps lol

I was told that even though they aren't visible now, they could be visible afterwards when the belly shrinks back down. Anyone experience this?

I am surprised I haven't had any show up yet. I have stretch marks just from weight gain when I was younger and EVERYTHING shows up on my pale skin. So I'm expecting to have some show up anytime, but I might just do a happy dance if I luck out and don't have any new ones post baby.

I was feeling pretty good - no visible stretch marks on my belly at all! Then one day after I took a shower my husband came in and pointed out that they were all over my butt. Yep...everywhere. I'm not certain my butt even grew that much! I guess if you're going to have them, might as well be somewhere nobody will ever notice them...right??

Oh yes- lots of lovely stretch marks but so far limited to below the belly button. with 7+ weeks to go and feeling fully stretched already I can't imagine I won't get more though.
