PP stitches this far out falling out?

While showering tonight I felt something on my vagina (I was washing down there). I pulled "it" out from my from labia (it wasn't inside my vagina, just down there) and looked at what seems to be stitches? It was dark colored, kinda wirey and part of it was tied in a knot. I had dissolving stitches but can't figure out what the hell this was other than thinking stitches? I'm not worried and technically don't care I'm just super curious now. Anyone else have something similar? If nothing else this post serves as another wtf post partum moment...nearly five months later:)

It's not uncommon for sutures to dissolve slowly (or not at all) and come out months after a surgery.

Probably just a leftover stitch. Nothing to worry about

DD1 had dissolvable stitches on her face. One looked like it got absorbed by her skin with just a little bit sticking out. Pedi said to give it time. It ended up coming out months after the surgery.
