I get pressure on the inside of my butthole quite frequently. Does that mean I'm going to poop out the baby instead of pushing him out the front?
Well, they do tell you to push with your pooping muscles, so....basically.
Yup. I read in a pregnancy book before DD1 that when pushing, try to shoot your butt across the room and you'll get the perfect muscles engaged for pushing. I told my OB nurse this right before I started pushing, and she loved it. She said she was going to start telling all her moms that.
I get pressure low as well. Feels like a rubber band with pressure all the way across. Its not enough pressure for me to feel like I'm going into labor. If that was the case I'd be at the OB's office immediately. So if the pressure is slight - probably normal. If you're concerned then its worth a call to the Doctor. Which goes for everything.
Re: Pressure on the bottom
In all seriousness though please follow these steps:
1. Remove head from ass
2. Call your doctor!!!!! Right meow!
