2nd and 3rd Tri ladies, a question

I feel like people have really liked the 1st tri check-in that @footprint runs and I noticed that many people have continued to check-in on it even after their 1st trimester ends. I also feel like there are at least some people who feel more comfortable on this board than their BMB or the trimester boards, but maybe don't feel like they can ask the typical questions that come up in each trimester or even just discuss the worries or experiences that come with each one. I know these things come up in our ticker change check-ins, but would anyone be interested in a 2nd and 3rd trimester check-in or weekly/bi-weekly discussion and question thread that is trimester specific? I feel like I am way too close to run anything now, but I wanted to throw it out there in case this was something people had any interest in.

If so, should it be 2T and 3T together or separate? A check-in or general discussion? Weekly or bi-weekly? And is anyone willing to run it/them?

I think it's a good idea. I'm active on my bmb, but it can still be overwhelming at times. Also since I'm an end-of-the-month edd, I feel like things that aren't pertinent to me at the time get brought up earlier on the bmb, then there's the whole "shaming" of repeat questions by the time I would want to ask something similar (if that makes sense).

I think a discussion format would be much more beneficial than a check in. It would also allow third tri ladies to chime in on second tri questions and vice versa without feeling like you don't "belong" in a check in.

I would agree with @KMW08‌ that being an "end if the month" EDD makes me feel a little but disconnected from my BMB. I think it's a great idea, and second the idea that a discussion format might be a better idea than an actual check in. Some times I have questions, and am not necessarily to AW an update on myself on another check in.

If I can find anyone interested to run first trimester check-in, I would do a second and third trimester forum. First trimester check-in is tomorrow night, I will check and see if anyone else wants to do it.

I was thinking that if anyone had a question that she was too embarrassed to ask on the forum, she could pm me [or whoever (whomever?)] is running it and that person could post about it. Just an idea...

I like the idea of it being more a discussion. I am not active on my BMB, It intimidates me. I'm still hanging around with the 1st tri check in here(I just started 2nd tri)but it would be nice to have a place to ask questions, and give advice and not feel like I am AWing up the boards.

Awesome! How about this: I can post a discussion for 2nd and 3rd tri tomorrow just to get it going. Then, we can also see if someone wants to take over 1st tri or if anyone else is interested in running the new discussion. Also, @footprint I like the idea of people being able to ask embarrassing questions through the discussion leader. I'll definitely add that in the initial post tomorrow.

I am one of those who is in 2nd tri, and still checks in on the 1st tri board. It's nice to have somewhere to check in, so we can all keep up with each other... and I really enjoy it.

I love the idea of a 2nd tri and a third tri discussion (rather than check in). I think two separate threads would be good, but not sure about every week or every other week.
