I had my membranes stripped at 830pm on the 26th. My water broke at 10:45pm and I went to the hospital.
Because I was not contracting very much on my own, they induced me with pitocin and also a foley bulb later on.
The foley bulb was painful but very worth it, it got my dilated to a 4.
About 10 hours later I was dilated to 9 and a half cm.
I got a bad infection since my water had been broken for over 24 hours. I got very sick and was freezing even tho I was spiking a temp. Babies heart rate was also increasing but docs paid close attention and let me keep going since I was so close.
I pushed for 22 minutes and then our beautiful baby son was born 8lbs 12 0z and 21 and a half inches.
Vbac is possible, even with a not so small baby!
Good luck to all the other hopeful vbac mommies! It was a great experience!
