I guess this would pertain to third trimesters. But I have been having upper tenderness/discomfort in between my ribs and along the top part of my abdomen. I don't think it's contractions bc it's mostly to the touch or just when I sit all day. I also don't think it's a uti bc I don't have any other signs of it. I got them a lot before getting pregnant so I know what to look for. So here are my questions. Do you get these pains too? Is it more than likely that my muscles are stretched to the max or he's sitting in/on my ribs? I will be 34 weeks Wednesday and have a doctors appointment Thursday so I can ask then. But I value the ladies opinions here.

I had so many of those pains when I was pregnant with DS. Does it feel like it's inside or is it closer to your skin, like you can press on the spot where it hurts? If so, it sounds like it's just your muscles stretching. I would go through these periods of extreme hunger for about a week, and I always knew those pains were coming the week after because I guess he'd have a growth spurt. It can definitely be uncomfortable. I found that eating smaller meals helped some. I had it the worst between 30-36 weeks.

I got really horrible rib pain for a while. It was kind of in the center and to the right and along my bra line. Mine was so bad, I couldn't sleep on my right side at all.
But, I'd definitely mention it at your appointment. Or even call if it gets worse/is really bothersome. Pain up along there can be a number of things.
Same here! My pain is in my right rib and my skin is super sensitive there. I can't really sleep on my right side, either. But then my left hip hurts so I have to switch sides. I can't win!
