It's ME...the bad nestie...

So...I hear I am a wanted nestie. Embarrassed

For those of you who are as curious as I am, IT's ME!!! Tongue Tied

I am not afraid to own up to my own mistake.

Well, Let me first sincerely apologize to my nestie MrsHONEYBUNNY and the rest of the nestie family. I would not have joined the ornament exchange if I didnt think I couldn't follow through. Since becoming a mommy of two I have learned "life happens" whether you are ready or not. A series of events have taken the best of me and snowballed to my fall as a dedicated ornament exchanger. We unexpectedly had a death in the family requiring me,dh and the boys to travel out of town to the freezing weather.(BOSTON). Which upon return my newborn Nicolas become seriously ill with bronchitis, requiring round the clock nebuliser(sp?) care, doctor's visits, etc. I was so not prepared for it since Mario never got so sick. So unfortunately, I was unable to get to the stores shopping as I had hoped not just for the ornament but for my ENTIRE family until 12/23. (I didn't even put my tree up until the day before christmas) I even had to work for the first time in my life on Noche Buena (christmas eve), 10 pm- 3 am since I had used up all my PTO time. When I received my ornament I realized I hadn't purchased an ornament yet. So while at work, I did manage to pick out an ornament online on christmas eve, I figured better late than never, right? Apparently, I never clicked the final Submit order button and didn't realize it until you called me out and I checked my credit card statement.  So here I am confessing and making good on my promise.

I just completed an order for not one, but two ornaments. They are personalized so they should arrive in about a week or so. I truly am sorry and hope that I can be redeemed once the ornaments arrive. May everyone have a happy, healthy and fulfilling New Year.

    I'm so sorry you've had such a turbulant holiday season!  I'm especially sorry about your loss and I hope Nicolas is feeling better.

    Thank you for posting!!!! I guess we all tend to jump to conclusions because we remember years past that there has always been someone who did not follow through and did not have a reason.

    I'm sorry about all you are dealing with, especially at this time of year.  

    I hope you're not offended by my post and any of the responses and I hope to see you around here often :)

    And now to add to my story my mom just told me my dad is dying of cancer.?

    Long story (i wil tell u later) he wasnt around since I was 7. But feel obligated to see him before he dies. so i may ot be around to see replies as I am planning an emergency trip to mississippi to visit him...LIFE SUX?

    Nicole,

    I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, as well as Nicolas's illness and your dad's cancer.  You were very nice to post such an explanation, although I personally feel that the whole thing should have been left alone since it is, after all, just an ornament.  I hope that Nicolas is feeling better and is fully recovered from the bronchitis.  That sucks that you had to work Noche Buena, and I hope that you have a much better start to the new year.

    Wow! Talk about everything happening at once. I am sorry about everything you are dealing with - it for sure took precedence over sending an ornament. I am sure your Secret Nestie will understand.

    Girl IT'S COMPLETELY OK!!! I totally get it!!! You didn't have to get me anything. I was just concerned that it got lost and then you may have thought that I just didn't say thanks. I'm so sorry for your loss and for your little one getting sick. I have had a crazy month aswell with me being so close to having Julian but also about to lose my job..it's just crazy! anyway I'm sure the 2 ornaments will be perfect :) you really didn't have to
