  I recommend Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. It's super crunchy (talk of communes and birthing cabins and other weirdness) but I didn't mind that part and it really helped to change my perspective on giving birth from being terrified to being confident that my body knows what it's doing. For raising the baby I have no idea but I probably need 1 so will keep an eye on recs!

  Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Baby. Or some type of sleep book. If you end up with a bad sleeper those books will save your life

  I've been reading Baby Wise and also read the Baby Whisperer. Both seem to have a similar philosophy about sleep training and getting babies on a "routine" not a "schedule" They seem to have good, practical advice. I felt like the Baby Whisperer was an easier read, and both were helpful... but I don't have a baby yet - so we'll see if it all flies out the window once she gets here
  

  Me:38 - TTC for 3+years - Multiple failed IUIs (w/clomid, femara,injectibles - all BFNs) IVF #1 - Jan 2012, CP -IVF#2 March 2012, CP - Went back to IUIs all summer. Multi-Cycle Egg banking for FET. Egg retrieval #1 October, 2 frosties. Retrieval#2 January 2013. 6 eggs banked - waiting to be fertilized in March, FET March! Zero eggs survived thaw process - FET Cancelled. New RE - Now banking Embryos for PGS - July ER- 3 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized, 1 genetically normal embryo! FET - Feb. 2014, BFP - Mar. 2014, EDD 11/6/14 It's a GIRL!
