Suddenly stinky pee??

So my EBF 20 week old suddenly started having horribly intense pee diapers. Like, I can't put them in the trash can inside, sort of bad. I googled it and found several sites say there is a link between stinky urine and teething...obviously the interwebz never lie, so I was wondering anyone else's experience/opinion on this.

    The only experience I have it due to him being on antibiotics it made his pee smell like the medicine - definitely chk with your pedi.

    Did you eat any asparagus??? I would give the pedi a call to be safe. Get their opinion, there are several diseases that can change the smell of urine. Any fever or does LO seem in pain? Could be a UTI

    I've ruled out other factors- I just found the teething link to be interesting. Guess we will see!

    I googled about poop smelling like vinegar and also got sites saying that it was teething related. So random. I'd call the pedi to check LOs urine. The pedi asked me about stinky urine at my DDs last exam.

    My son's urine has a beefy smell to it. I know that sounds disgusting, but that's what it smells like. Lol it wasn't always smelly like that either.
