stains on shirt

I noticed a few of my tshirts have stains on the chest area. It could very well be from the nipple cream that I used a while back but just curious, can your own milk stain. That seems a little crazy to me but just curious if that is a possibility. Glad I ruined maternity T-shirts and not really nice ones.

    Is it from using lanolin on your nips? I didn't realize that lanolin left bad stains and I thought I had ruined some shirts and nursing bras. I put a thick paste of dawn dish soap on mine and let it sit, then washed. The stains are getting better. I've never had any issues with breastmilk stains coming out so I can't help you there.

    Breast milk can leave a grease stain. I use resolve spray and it comes right out.

    I've never had any staining from BM, and I leaked a lot (through the pads) early on with all 3 of my kids. I know I had some lanolin stains, but with Shout and several washes they eventually came out.

    I figured it was from the Lanolin but I thought I got it out already and haven't used it in a while.lol

    Ive never experienced a grease stain from breastmilk and have leaked probably gallons total in the past 16 months. That's an exaggeration of course, but my shirts were literally soaked in milk early on.
