Hi everyone! I'm a little scared and nervous to post on here. I found out I was expecting my first child with my husband on August 14th. At 8w5d we found out I had a blighted ovum and I had a D&C on Sept 5th of this month. I saw my doctor for a follow up a week later and she gave me an ultrasound to find out everything was normal. My cervix went back down to size. She said my husband and I didn't have to wait if we wanted to start trying again, so we decided to start trying right away. I took a HPT on Wednesday 9/24 and it said I was 1-2 weeks pregnant. Is it possible to get pregnant this quickly? Has anyone else gotten pregnant right after a D&C? I'm just praying that this will be our little rainbow!

HCG can take some time to go back down to a non-pregnant level. Were you ever tested again after your D&C? The only reason I ask is because 19 days would be extremely quick to get pregnant again.

I hope it's a true BFP but I was thinking the same thing as Crazycupcake52. I recall reading that after a D&C you can still turn a test for a while. I would see your doctor to confirm. But hopefully you'll have a happy and healthy 9 months!

This- I had a d&c when I had my 12 week loss and I turned up pregnancy positives for a bit.
