    I'm 37 weeks I'm nervous I have gestational diabetes so they won't let me go after 39 weeks with out induction I'm really excited n nervous

    Yes! A friend of mine came over yesterday and kept saying, "Why don't you just sit? Go sit!" I wanted to strangle her. I want to stand at the moment, dammit!!

    I'm 36 weeks.
    They are saying she is six pounds.
    I feel alright most of the time.
    My last two weeks app. Is next Monday. I was a 1 last week. Sorta hoping I'm still a 1 and not much progress has been made. Not yet.
    I feel like I have a ton to do. But I have no want to touch any of it.

    39 week watermelon. I can't believe we made it this far!

    How are you feeling?
    Having tons of Braxton Hicks, some of which are starting to become painful and crampy. Otherwise I feel pretty good.

    Any rants or raves?
    I'm still just amazed and grateful that we are here and that I may end up getting the chance to go into labor on my own after all.

    Any upcoming appointments? Any this past week?
    Check up on Friday went great, next check up is this coming Friday... Two days before my due date!

    We are totally ready. After my bp scare at 36 weeks we kicked it into high gear and got everything ready. I'm hoping he comes this week!

    37 weeks today!!

    How big is baby?
    Apparently a wintermelon??? Whatever that is... One of my other apps says a leek, and the other one says a watermelon.

    How are you feeling?
    I'm feeling pretty OK besides the swelling in my legs and feet, and the just plain uncomfortable feelings.

    Any rants or raves?
    Not really. Oh, I guess I'm pissed because all of the sudden now hubby doesn't want to get a flu shot? WTF? I'm making him do it anyways. He got his Tdap no problem.

    Any upcoming appointments?
    Friday @ 37wks 5days we have an appointment at MFM for one last ultrasound to get an estimate on baby's size, and to see the Dr. and probably set an induction date.

    Any this past week?
    Had one on Friday at 36/5, had my GBS swab and my first cervical check, she said I was a fingertip dilated (not quite 1cm), and my cervix was soft and pushed forward. Not sure what that means, but she says it is a good thing.

    Pretty much, I think we are! :D

    Any last minute things to do?
    Ugh. Call the pediatrician and finish packing my hospital bag. I have a total of like- 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts that I can wear right now, so I'm trying not to pack them until it's go time. I have most of my things packed.

    How many weeks are you?  How big is baby? 38 weeks, a pumpkin!

    How are you feeling? Mostly, pretty good. But at the moment it is 2:45am and I am up with the lovely heartburn/restless legs combo that has been plaguing me lately. I'm also kinda crampy, but I told my partner before I got out of bed that I'm not in labor, I'm just getting up because of restless legs, so I'm sticking with that ;)

    Any rants or raves? So filled with gratitude to be 38 weeks. I'm only a couple of days from when my son was born, which feels amazing. I'd love to get to 39 weeks or beyond, but right now it feels great to be here, in the middle of the night, at 38+1!

    Any upcoming appointments?  Any this past week? I have a regular appointment on Tuesday. We'll see if I make it. I think the midwife will be surprised to see me... she thought I was going to have this baby two weeks ago.

    QOTW - Are you ready for baby?  Any last minute things to do? I'm not quite ready. There will be some logistical problems if baby comes before Wednesday... my FIL, who is watching our son during delivery, is out of town. My SIL, who's the backup, is sick, and I'm concerned about her staying in our house and caring for our toddler two days before I bring home a newborn. Also, my delivering midwife may be unavailable if baby comes tomorrow. Hang on please, little one.
