High Risk Obgyn with residency at Stamford hospital

Hello everyone! My family and I just moved to New Canaan this week. I'm pregnant again after delivering via c section 7 months ago, so my pregnancy is considered "high risk". Does anyone of an excellent obgyn out of Stamford hospital? And, has anyone been in this position before?

Thank you!

  • Try Dr. Weinstein at Stamford hospital. I only saw him for gynecology before I was pregnant, but liked him a lot. I would definitely have stayed with him, but I moved and it was too far!

  • I know Dr. Weinstein has high ratings, but I've actually had a negative experience with him.  Only one but still it would make me too cautious to ever go back.  I was told, when having an HSG, it was painless, no big deal.  Well, it is not a painless test - they stick a tube with ink up your cervix to do a detailed Xray.   Needless to say, I passed out from pain.

I know doc's don't have our lady parts, but if I had been properly prepared it could have been a totally different experience.   After that, I switched to another doctor in the practice.
