I have enjoyed seeing everyone's nursery updates, but they also make me anxious! I'm due in 2 weeks, and we've (not so patiently) been waiting on our Munire furniture to be delivered, which we ordered on July 12. We just found out from the retailer on Friday that Munire/Echelon have filed for bankruptcy, but our crib and double dresser have arrived to their warehouse. However, our 5-drawer chest and conversion kit won't come until January, at the earliest!
I've read online that the Echelon factory closed its production plant on 9/18, so this could very well mean I never get the chest or conversion kit. I'm inclined to cancel our order and just go to Pottery Barn Kids and get a complete set of furniture I know will arrive in 1-3 weeks.
I'm stressed and just want everything done, put away, and set up! Right now, our nursery is a painted room with a heap of baby gear on the floor

What would you do???
Re: Munire Nursery Furniture - Chapter 11
We really like the furniture , and it's good quality. We were hoping to continue using it as a bedroom set. With the conversion kit, it will convert to a toddler bed then a full-size bed. Without it, it's just a crib
Just an addition: I love the look of the furniture we received, but the quality wasn't quite what was in the store (rougher finish). We kept the furniture because we still love it and the rougher parts are where baby won't be touching (bottom of crib, inside drawers), but I wonder if the problems we found weren't indicative of difficulties at the Indiana plant.
Hopefully, baby stays put until after that, but I feel so much relief
