  They are definitely setting Frank up to be more sympathetic than he is in the books. Of all of the characters I feel like he's always been the least fleshed out. I liked the allusion to a darker side of his nature as possibly coming from his ancestors... But those of us who know also know who his real ancestor is.... Makes me wonder if they will keep that bit.
  
  I also hope that we will get less Claire voice over going forward. I want to see the story not be told the story. Gah

  I haven't read the books, just watching the show, but my mom's an avid reader. I did recognize the dragonfly in amber as a book title. So that seemed important.
  
  It was a very rapey time in history I guess.
