Omg, so poor K had her first ER visit tonight!

I was playing with her down on the floor, and she was turning herself and got her arm into a weird position, and all of a sudden I hear a loud "pop", and she starts bawling. I tried everything & she was inconsolable, meanwhile I was totally freaking out about the possibility of her having a broken arm, which I just couldn't even imagine her dealing with at this stage where she is crawling non-stop. I looked for swelling but didn't see anything, but meanwhile K continued to cry, and wasn't moving that arm at all, and was holding it kind of funny. It was unfortunately her nap-time too, so I gave her some motrin then just held her for her nap because she was so exhausted & I couldn't see her functioning well in the ER while being that tired. Even while she slept any time her arm moved at all she started crying again, it was the saddest. After the short nap I called my mom and she went with me to the ER, but amazingly after we checked in & everything, K finally started moving her arm around little by little, and after a little while she was waving it all around again and laughing and smiling like normal. I was like what happened?? It turns out she had what's called "nurse maid's elbow", basically she dislocated it, then thankfully it went back into place on it's own. I'm so thankful it wasn't something worse, but gosh that was scary! So sad to see her in pain like that.
