The only bonus is that it is NOT a medical question.
When are you ladies taking stuff out of the box? I mean, should I pull the pack n play/swing/rocker/whatever out of the box and set it up today? Tomorrow? When I am ready to put the kid in it? I am only asking cause I have a baby shower today and was just planning on fill the nursery up with boxes and dealing with it later, but my family is making me think there is something wrong with me. As in, I should be "nesting" or "preparing" more.

Re: Really Dumb Question
D14 November Siggy Challenge: The feels of 3rd trimester...
I'm glad I did it that way because nobody wants to be concerned with setting up a swing when it is go time and you have a screaming infant on your hands.

Okay, but mostly I just wanted to see what everything looked like all set up because I was excited. I don't actually think it was necessary.
Lots of love TBBFF lobosabby!! Always rooting for the TTGP girls

With DD we kept the big things in boxes until we needed them (activity bouncer, high chair, etc.). We won't get those same things back out until this LO needs them.

:::shrug:::
1) You might go through a nesting stage and it would be nice to have something to do.
2) make sure there is enough time to air everything out and exchange/return if damaged.
3) Don't wait too long because then you are big and it is awkward getting everything out snd set up.
4) If you have animals I would wait a bit so hair/fur doesn't get on everything or keep that room closed off.
