Anyone else giving in to nesting??

I'm not usually very creative when it comes to anything but a head of hair or makeup palette sitting in front of me, but my nesting has had me living in front of a sewing machine and obsessing over things I'm actually starting to make off of Pinterest. I've already bought a ridiculous amount of clothes (gave a girlfriend of all of DS' stuff for her son so I need more boy clothes lol) so I know DH is much happier now that I've found a new outlet! I'm really starting to enjoy this new side of myself

Anyone else giving in to their fits?

I'm in total nesting mode. We have everything for baby since we already have 2 boys and a girl and I have kept everything. Not spending time on a nursery since we are making an international move when baby is 6 months. So my current project is reorganizing the pantry:) We have a small european kitchen and I have to get creative on how I store everything. I just ordered some super cute baskets and mini chalkboards. DH thinks I'm crazy since he does not appreciate those types of things but I love it!

I have other projects up my sleeve and I always plan to work on things when the kids have all gone to bed. My only problem is I usually fall asleep too:(

I'm also in nesting mode. I'm sewing, making other crafts, painting, decorating, canning food, dehydrating food. You name it.

Yes I have been riffling through the stuff I have left over from DS to see what I can use again. I have also been sewing baby wipes and plotting what baby quilt, I will be making for her crib.

DS and I also tie dyed all of his old crib sheets pink and purple! Super fun a messy.

I was just waking up a little more before jumping into some of the stuff that I wanna do. Bought baby furniture yesterday, so now I have to move some stuff from the nursery to get it in there to store until we get the rest of it cleared. After that, I'm gonna clean and start organizing the kitchen because it's driving me insane.

Yes!!!! I am getting ready to have a big garage sale. I am cleaning out the house of all clutter. I have saved all of Aidan's stuff since he was a baby and he is almost 6. Some days it gives me so much anxiety with all the stuff we need to do. Dh does not seemed as concerned. Makes me really mad some days. I just need to remember to breath

I really want to start getting the babys room ready but we just moved DD out of it into her big girl bed. So we don't want her to think she got the boot for baby. There is a lot of clothes sorting to do!

Yes, moved chest of drawers into the nursery yesterday and put away all his clothes, feels nice to have some,thing set up for him already. I'm not feeling movement yet (21 weeks) so it's a nice bonding thing.

I'm starting to. DH and I spent the morning cleaning up some of DS's "baby" toys so we can get them ready for the baby. We are also slowly starting to shuffle things around and condense the playroom closet so I can move my library to the playroom. The library will become the baby's room, so we are slowly working on the transition. I admit, the library is my favorite room in the house. I'm really sad to see it go.

I want to start working on the baby's room so bad, but we need to combine my DH's office and our pet/exercise room stuff into one room. And since it's pretty much all his stuff, that he really needs to go through and decide what to throw out, I'm waiting till he has a free weekend. He won't move the stuff till we get the phone line fixed in the exercise room so he can move his computer... and for that we need money.

It's driving me a little batty, all this waiting.

We made a deadline so that DH wasn't quite as overwhelmed. He asked that I give him a checklist and he will put dates on it so that I can know when to expect things to be done.

Also, the husbands will be gathering at my house during my baby shower (Nov 1) to paint and move furniture.

@nvywife Doing one dark side was a great idea! Wish I had thought of that. Mine are also double flannel. I think I'm going to have to put a serger on my wish list because all that turning and topstitching was a pain! How many did you figure you'll need?

I so had a melt down today because we are remodeling and all I want to do is make some crafts for my baby girls room but her dad wants to wait until he room is painted and finished to add the touches. I literally can't do any nesting because my house is upside down. Today was an emotional day, the first I've had with my pregnancy

I framed, painted, mod podged, printed, and colored all the decor for our little princess' room

Her name means Powerful, Brave, and Industrial ruler. Her middle name means Blossoming, Florishing, Prosperous. So DH thought it was perfect to use empowering quotes throughout her room to remind her of the amazing woman she will grow up to be.

Which of course made me cry because it was so genuine. Needless to say I have been nesting all day.

@MapleMomma‌ I have also put a serger on my wish list because it is a pain. I'm making 56, I know it's an odd number but that's what the fabric I bought will make evenly. I figure that we will use them to clean hands and dirty faces too. Plus you use more than one on a poopy diaper. How many are you going with?

I actually ended up making 105. Also a funky number, but that's what my 10 yards made. However, I also sent some to my cousin who cloth diapers and just had a baby. Are you a S+tm or ftm? Are you getting crazy looks when people find out you are going to use cloth wipes? Most people don't think cd'ing is too crazy but the wipes seem to get people giving me the crazy eyes!
