This Saturday, lo (who's 8 weeks old) and dd (who's almost 8) are both sleeping by my grandmothers house! It will be the first night alone for dh and I in months! I'm a little nervous, but more excited. After all she raised her kids, my brother and i, and watched dd full time before she went to schoo. So I think I'll be fine

I think I'm gonna pop a Valium and sleep for 10 glorious hours!

So here I am in my driveway. I just left both kids by my grandma's. And I'm crying my eyes out

. He's just so little. (8 weeks) and it's my first night without his little face. My first night without him sleeping right next to me in his little bassinet. I miss him. And dd too but I'm so used to her sleeping out. She's almost 8 so it's different. Ugh.

Lucky you! DS is not sleeping enough through the nights to send him to anyone to be babysat over night. Although I'm sure the first time I leave him overnight I'll have some sort of a meltdown.

I don't want to jinx myself, but most of the time ds sleeps all night. Usually 10:30-6... He can be a nightmare during the day who doesn't like to nap for more than 20 min. But at night he sleeps (usually). He slept 10-5:30 for my grandma, and then from 6-7:30. So he was fine obv. I was the one who was having anxiety. I'm going to first the kids in about 2 hours! I slept from 11-8 (my daughter called and woke me up) and I cleaned my whole apt (uninterrupted). Dh is STILL sleeping. But I'll let him sleep, since I don't need help with the kids.

. Feeling refreshed!
