We were super happy to hear the good news for Chelsea Clinton and her husband this morning about their new, healthy baby girl.
However, when I told my husband they named her Charlotte...
(him) "Well...I guess we scratch that name off our list, right?"
(me) "...exactly...right?"
We still have about 5-10 names we are debating, including Charlotte (in honor of her great-granddad Charles).
I can't tell if we would be stupid for scratching it from the list or stupid to leave it on the list.
Anyone else have any (possibly irrational) reasons they rethought names?
Re: Being Stupid about a Name?
Name is Charlotte so I wasn't thrilled to find out about Chelsea Clinton, however I get nothing but compliments on the name and I really do love it,

Ehh I wouldn't worry about it. Charlotte is a beautiful name and fairly common, so I don't think it's a big deal.
As long as you weren't planning to name your baby North. Because.. well.. then, you're screwed. You can't use Kimye's ideassss!!
