Had my mid-cycle ultrasound today and have 3 follicles ranging from 11-14 mm. The doctor brought up switching from TI to IUI. The husband and I are trying to decide, it doesn't increase our chances by much since there is no MFI but will be the next step if this round with TI doesn't work. Any advice on making this decision? I have decent insurance so it wouldn't be too much more money.
***UPDATE***
We're going for an IUI, after talking we decided there was no reason we shouldn't do it this month since we'll be doing it next month anyway. It will be Monday morning sometime. Thanks for your help ladies!

I'm pretty sure IUI increases your chances over TI. Before we knew we would need IVF, we went right to IUI but obviously you should do what you both feel comfortable with. Good luck!
I am wondering the same thing for my next cycle. RE basically said it "didn't matter" to him, but I am so worried that we didn't get pregnant this cycle because of somehow messing up.
Me: 26 DH: 31
Married 10/15/11
Started TTC 8/2012
8/12-8/13 - TTC Naturally
8/2013 - PCOS/anovulation diagnosis
8/2013 - Metformin + Clomid, no reaction (Not insulin resistant, but tried Metformin to see if it would make a difference.)
My choice is always to combine ovarian stimulation drugs and IUI because the combo is at least slightly better than one or the other for all diagnoses. Good luck with whatever you choose!

We decided to go with IUI because my insurances views an Ovulation Induction (OI) cycle the same as a IUI cycle. I am limited to 3 IO cycles so why not go with IUI if that is covered as well and it slightly increases the chances of success.
If you and DH both feel OK with IUI, I'd go with that option for the reasons PPs have said. But if you are feeling emotionally like you're not quite on board with IUI yet, then TI is a perfectly fine option, too. With your age, time is probably not as much of an issue as it would be for, say, me (I'm 35).
