I'd say the PP covered most of it. I would also add a basic baby first aid kit. You'll want to have at least a thermometer in the house that you can use on your infant. Nothing worse than suspecting a fever with no way to confirm it.
watch out with the butt creams. Most have cod liver oil in them, which isn't a big deal but we have severe allergies in our family (I am allergic to fish and would break out if I touched the stuff!) We just use petroleum jelly or baby aquaphor which works great! I would also add baby shampoo of some sort of baby blanket you can use on the floor for tummy time, or to bundle up when you venture outside. A free and clear detergent (we like Target brand baby) for super sensitive baby skin. We also really liked having a night light in DD's room and a basic baby monitor. You kind of figure out what else you need quick! We waited on a lot of stuff and then MIL and DH made a target run pretty soon after we got home.
A sling or structured carrier like the ergo baby with infant insert. Breast pump. Boobs. Earth mama nipple butter and mamas milk tea. Nursing bras. Diapers. Wipes. Butt cream. Baby wash and wash cloths. Swaddling blankets. Burp cloths. Somewhere to sleep. Rocking chair. Premade food in the freezer.

Newborn/infant mittens. They scratch their poor little faces.
A minimalist momma would skip the mittens and just use little socks instead:) Fortunately, we've never had a face scratcher so I would not include them in the necessary category.
