DO IT NOW.
Please.
Her first Halloween she was GIR from Invader Zim and last year she was an Ewok. I was going to make her a little Kaylee costume, from Firefly this year, but I've figured out that I'm not good at making my own pants patterns and a mechanic suit is harder than it looks. If you haven't figured it out, or don't get these references, we're fucking nerds.
She's a tiny kid, so it's hard to find costumes that fit her, and aren't geared towards little babies. Also, as much as she loves Frozen, I'd like to avoid princesses for at least another year. I can sew, sort of, but I'm just blanking on ideas here.

Re: Help me figure out a halloween costume for my 2 year old.
We did Leia when DD was just tiny. (Technically a princess, but at least not a Disney one). The costume was huge on her but it still worked. We just gathered the "wig" into a ponytail holder on the back of her head so that it would stay on. Her face lets you know she loved it too:
I just really love wigs and fake hair on babies; it's hilarious to me.
I have no opinion on the matter since I'm due oct 25th, I just want whatever's easy.
If I was picking, I'd do something obscure, like Rainbow Brite.
