Hello everyone, im due in december and i am planning on BF. Question do you still need bottles? I will be staying home with baby so I can nurse. I found a great deal on bottles and wondering if im going to need to use them.
I wouldn't stock up on any one kind. Even if you need some for giving bottles while you are out some time babies can be picky as to which bottles they take, so just get one of each kind until you know what your baby will like. And then you will only need a few just to leave bottles for babysitters or whatever.
Ditto PP. We registered for a few different kinds of bottles when I was pregnant with DS (3 years ago.) He never ended up taking a bottle at all even though we tried a bunch of different kinds. I gave birth to DD three weeks ago, and we still have unopened packs of bottles from DS.
I dont think it's neccesary to buy a handpump right away, the hospital will have pumps for your use if needed and you or your SO could easily buy one. As far as bottles, I echo what previous posters said.
