EED/Weeks: Oct 31, 35 weeks, Coconut (can a coconut really be over 5 lbs?)
Symptoms: sore ribs (?) right under bust line. Feels tender like I am developing a bruise, but none ever shows up. Dr. says it is my ribs expanding, how fun! Because I wasn't expanding enough already!
Updates/appointments/AW: Appointment this week everything was good, measuring "right on track."
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! I had hard time deciding. I went with the most creative. I was a bath pouf one year:
P.S. I was wearing shorts and a strapless sundress underneath to help avoid a wardrobe malfunction!

Me: 36, DH: 38, Together since: 2006, Married: 9/2011 **TW Living Child**
Symptoms: Sleep is becoming hard to come by, even tried a Unisom and no luck. The lump in my throat still persists. Other than that, not too bad.
Updates/appointments/AW: Finally have the paint for the nursery, just have to summon the energy now to actual paint. Next appointment is on the 30th and DH will be tagging along for the midwives chat.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! Hmm... I don't remember dressing up much but I vaguely recall a pretty awesome Gremlin's costume.
EED/Weeks: 11/7 -->34 weeks (I can't believe there are only 6 weeks left!!!)
Symptoms: Some spotting on Monday which scared the $h!t out of me. Lack of appetite continues.
Updates/appointments/AW: Had an appt Monday anyway, and had an ultrasound for the spotting and abdominal pain (@DoubleUp8-exactly like the pain you described). Found out the baby is really small so now I'm IUGR, boo. On the upside, all markers for placental insufficiency are negative (high/normal fluid, good UA flow, good blood pressure).
Unfortunately this doesn't help my feelings of extreme guilt that my lack of appetite->skipping meals->low weight gain->small baby. I KNOW in my head that this isn't the reason, but in my heart, I feel awful. And now o course, everyone sees fit to mention how small I am. I know they mean well, but it twists the knife each time. My baby shower is this weekend though, so I'm excited about that!
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Hmmm... I dressed up as a cop and DH was a "cereal" killer (kasha heart to heart to be exact)
It is so hard to believe that V-day was 10 weeks ago!
Pretty quiet this week on the baby front. We had a shower this week with my husband's work at a happy hour. Only time that is appropriate since I am not pregnant and could drink all the margaritas anyone wanted to buy me . lol.
Next week has a lot of classes coming up. Next appointment is next Thursday.
GTKY: My mom was horrible at Halloween costumes. I was a clown for probably 5 years straight. lol.

Symptoms: BPs still borderline, but only trace protein in urine; back and pelvic pain (duh); exhaustion!
Updates/appointments/AW: nothing eventful appointment wise. We did go over some birth plan stuff at my visit this week. It was nice to be on the same page with the midwife about everything. I had two showers last weekend, one was a surprise and the other was with longtime girlfriends who all have kids and know how to throw a party. Although I didn't partake, lots of alcohol was consumed. Two girls needed their husbands to come get them (from a Sunday brunch). That's how we roll. DH and I made a trip to the newly opened Ikea since we were in kc for my shower and got the last of what we needed for nursery furniture and the closet.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! I was octomom one year. I wore a long black wig, those huge red wax candy lips and had baby dolls pinned all over my clothes. DH was the fertility doctor. He wore scrubs and carried a turkey baster.
Updates/appointments/AW: just had my 35w appt yesterday. Measuring at 37w but still unsure if baby is breech. So at this point my MW is going to refer me for an u/s. Ugh.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! No idea.....
Updates/appointments/AW: 1) Hospital tour Sun. Though I've already delivered there they've changed some things and I want DS to see the place. 2) I'm starting physical therapy Mon because I pulled a muscle in my lower back and for my sciatica. Yay. 3) Next OB appt on Oct 1st
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! Oh gosh, I can't remember! Some that stick out are a vampire princess, gypsy and a freaky clown.

Symptoms: none really. Maybe more frequent peeing.
Updates/appointments/AW: diagnosed with the GD last week, saw on yesterday, my numbers look fabulous!
GTKY: I'm not sure about costume, but when I was 19 I got to experience Halloween in New Orleans. Talk about a blast! I was a devil. I wore my prom dress (red sparkly tapered salsa type) with red devil accessories. So much fun! My boobies are probably in a bunch of random strangers pictures
BFP#4 3/17/14 - rainbowBaby BOY arrived 11/10/14 !!
Symptoms: Just discomfort. Been waking up earlier because it's not so pleasant to try to sleep.
Updates/appointments/AW: Next appt Oct 6 (woah- October). She was on the right side posterior last time, so I've been doing pelvic tilts and trying to sleep on my left side.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Queen of hearts!
Feet swelling if I'm on them or sitting (like at work) during the day. It helps when I put them up at night, though. Peeing...yeah I don't even wanna go there. It's like I always have to go but it's never enough! I just want to pee like a normal person again!
Updates/appointments/AW:
Appointment next Thursday!
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos!
I really love Halloween. If I'm dressing up, I'm not doing a store-bought costume.
My top two favs
Romney Campaign Fails (It was a campaign year...how could I resist the easy material?) Included paper mache dress made of shredded tax forms, binders of women, 47% shoes, and a big bird necklace. (Note: DH was the reddit alien)
The BP Oil Spill. (Hard to tell but there are black duck footprints on my face and stuffed animals -- including Sponge Bob -- with black paint on my belt). The idea was good, but I spent most of the night trying to not get black paint on our friends furniture. OOps!
I'm sensing fun twin Halloween costumes in my babies' future.
N14 Nov. Siggy: CELEBRATION!
TTC since 2011
Aug. - Sept. 2013 - dIUIs = BFNs
January 2014 - IVF = 3 freezer babies
March 2014 - FET of AA and AB blast = BFP! Twins!
Nov. 7, 2014 - Wilhelmina "Willa" Suzanne (4lb 14oz) and Ari Jose (6lb 4oz) were born via CS
Symptoms: tired, tired, tired, some hip/back pain, tired
Updates/appointments/AW: had a 3d ultrasound this week. LO has lots of hair, long legs and big feet. Apparently I'm pregnant with a sasquatch. LOL. Next appointment isn't til Oct 10th.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! I was a road kill kitty one year. I spray painted my car tire silver and ran over a black shirt, wore the cat whiskers/ears/tail and had blood/sticks/dirt stuck all over me. It was fun.
Symptoms: same, lots of swelling, not enough sleep, combination of ravenous and feeling too full all the time
Updates/appointments/AW: next appointment is Tuesday, starting to pack the hospital bag
GTKY: I'm not a huge Halloween person, so as an adult, I haven't done many costumes. As a child, my mom made pretty awesome popple costumes for me and my sister - remember those?? (we were 4 and 2)
Symptoms: Peeing all.the.time. I am trying to drink extra liquids so that something actually comes out when I go in there. Ankles and feet are swelling more often (but still not every day thank goodness!). Sometimes I wake up and my right foot & hand are a little numb & tingly. I'm sleeping on my left side, isn't that what you're supposed to do??
Updates/appointments/AW: Appointment is Monday, so no updates right now. We are a LONG LONG way off from having stuff ready for Baby but making slow progress. Kind of stressed out over it. I just want someone to come & organize my laundry room (more like a laundry closet you can stand in), finish clearing out desk to get it out of guestroom/future baby room, and fix my broken microwave. It would certainly ease my mind!
GTKY:What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? In 5th grade I wore my mom's purple velvet long sleeve mini dress with fur cuffs & collar. It was a costume she wore as a majorette in high school. I added rollerskates and said I was a figure skater. I think it was a year when there would be winter Olympics. Note, I wore something as a 12 year old that my mom wore when she was 17. My mom is a bit more petite than me!!
EED/Weeks: 32 weeks tomorrow - I'm shocked as usual!
Symptoms: ughhh.... Everything hurts! I need a live in masseuse or something.
Updates/appointments/AW: Going to New Orleans for my birthday this week. It should be interesting. I originally planned to eat all the good food and lay in the pool but now it looks like it'll be raining and too cool to swim. The amount of walking may do me in...
We had a 3d ultrasound last week - it was so awesome! She has fat cheeks! Getting an ultrasound with the dr this upcoming Wednesday. I'm curious to see how big she is. Everyone keeps saying that there's no way I'll make it to the end of November. So either I just look huge, or they're rude, or both.
GTKY: My favorite in the last few years was a champagne bottle costume. I'll try to get the pic to upload but it isn't working right now. I haven't dressed up the last 2 years.
Symptoms: Back pain the last couple of days (it had gone away for a while), not getting the best sleep at night, and the GD Updates/appointments/AW: We had our first 2 week appointment yesterday and it came with a sonogram because of the GD. Sprout is 4 lbs. 6 oz. already. GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! Probably Rainbow Brite. It was a hand-me-down from my sister. The year she wore it I was Twink (Rainbow Brite's sidekick for those who don't know) and everyone thought I was a hard-boiled egg.
And something tells me we'd get along really well @runningmama14. I think it's multiple people needing to be picked up from a brunch baby shower
EDD/Weeks: 11/15, 33 weeks tomorrow
Symptoms: I've made my hip very, very angry this week, and I'm not sure we'll ever be able to reconcile. I'll miss you, old friend. My hemis seem to be getting better, though.
Updates/appointments/AW: No appointments until Wednesday. They still haven't called to schedule my echocardiogram, and I don't have a number for the cardiologist. H suggested I get one while I'm in the hospital after having Artoo.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! My favorite was in 5th grade when I dressed up like a little old lady, complete with glasses, a bathrobe, and slippers. I won our school's costume contest that year.
(we were 4 and 2)
POPPLES! I loved popples. My mom recently found one of mine in the basement. It's all clean and waiting in the nursery :-)
Updates: Had a growth scan on Tuesday. Baby girl dropped from 31st to 19th percentile. MFM is giving me and LO until October 14th. If she gains enough weight, we will keep going; if not, we will induce. Regular appointment went well. NSTs are all looking great. But my usual nurse thinks that she will be admitting me on October 14th.
Halloween costume: I was a mouse when I was 1 yo. My mom made it. It was a good costume to stay warm in.
EED/Weeks: Nov. 28/31 Weeks - single digits, eh??!?!
Symptoms: I'm good. Exhausted, but no big deal. My BP still fluctuates alllll the time. Never, ever gets high, just goes from really low to OK and back to really low - am I broken?
Updates/appointments/AW: Appointment on Monday!
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? My mom made lots of my costumes as a kid - my cousins and I all went in identical, home-made clown costumes one year. But I've never been a Popple, so now I'm sorta crying in the corner. My life feels unlived!! Thanks @crizz13
Symptoms: Same as last week- all of them. Heartburn, constipation, always out of breath, backaches, leg cramps--and tons of movement to the point where I'm seeing odd appendages sticking out all the time!
Updates etc: Had a dr appt Monday. I start going every week now, which is cool. She said LO is probably going to be a big guy- at least 8.5 lbs. Should be a fun delivery :-/.
GTKY: So, interesting fact about me- I was not allowed to celebrate Halloween as a youth. My parents used to be very fundamentalist Christians (they aren't anymore), but we never were able to Trick or Treat, and even got pulled out of school on Halloween to avoid the parties. We always went to Chuck E. Cheese instead.
Anyway, I haven't had any very good costumes as an adult, although I have a fun idea for this year if we make it that long before birth. But, just for SAG, here's a throwback to DH and I, Halloween 2010.
EDD. 11/15 33 weeks wow! Symptoms. Was miserable when they both went transverse but baby A went head down again and I'm much more comfortable. I'm hanging in there as long as I stretch. Sleep is a myth I'm up every couple hrs. Either peeing or flipping sides.
To all of you with other kids I salute you! I don't know how you do it.
Updates- had our growthscan they are measuring 5.6&5.7lbs. They are huge lol. Dr suspects I have a blood sugar issue but I keep passing the GD tests so he said he won't do anything as the babies are looking good. He doesn't want to see me for two weeks then I need to do stress tests twice a week after that. GTKY. Halloween is my favorite!!!! No pic but I've gone as a Lichtenstein girl to a camera. All fun. I actually have glow in the dark skeleton onesies if the boys get here before Halloween. I also have jack Skelington costumes for them for next yr that were given to me at my shower. Halloween has always been a BIG deal for us. Can't wait to have little munchkins to dress up
Symptoms: Was mildly achey, and then tonight I lunged across a playground to save a teeny girl from going over a wall and pulled some kind of something in my groin and daaaaaamn. I am sore as heck now. Total waddlehobbling.
Updates/appointments/AW: Nothing new!
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! Oh man, I wish I could find pics. My favs were when I was a kid. One year I was Gabrielle from Xena, and one year I was Callisto. My uber-creative sister made them with me, and they were badass.
Symptoms: pelvic girdle pain in my back, acid reflux and morning sickness are back, exhaustion, nesting, finally had a few good nights' sleep but still peeing tons, lethargy, etcetc
Updates/appointments/AW: oct 1 is my 3rd tri ultrasound and oct 6 is an ob appt!!! Wooooooo
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Feel free to include photos! Hmmm i was medusa one year and professor mcgonagall another. Harry Potter nerd forever. My fave was my Persephone costume last year though. I made her kinda undead, since in mythology she's the queen of the dead. Love.

I forgot about my Gabrielle costume! Mom made me one my senior year of high school to go to a friend's party. That year they played the Rocky Horror Picture show at the high school auditorium at midnight and we all went. I was FREEZING! LOL
