Another September baby!

Hi guys!! I can't believe I had a baby today LOL. His name is Lucas, he is 5 lb, 9 oz and is 18 inches long. He was born via c-section due to my wacky increasing blood pressure. Today marked it my third trip to L&D to be monitored, only to be told that hey we can deliver you this afternoon! I didn't even realize I was contracting either! I am absolutely in love-all I want to do is hold him and cuddle with him!! He figured out how to latch for breast feeding, but I am worried I may be "empty"...wish us luck!! Good luck to the rest of the mamas in waiting! The wait is so well worth it!

Edit : original due date was 10/06/14, rescheduled to 10/13/14, and a scheduled c-section was set for 10/02/14

Congrats on your cutie! Don't worry about feeling "empty." At this stage you're only supposed to be making tiny amounts of colostrum for your baby. It's exactly what he needs for the first few days. When your milk comes in, you'll know it!
