  I was there 2 1/2 years ago... that is where I got engaged! We walked through the town and tasted wine. We mostly hung out at the house we rented there on a little beach are you from Michigan @bunannie‌?

  I grew up in Milford (my parents still live there) and then moved to Colorado for a tear and a half with an ex and then came back and we broke up. DH and I moved in together right by great lakes crossing and then bought a house in clarkston 2 1/2 years ago! We like it here

  I'm in traverse!!!! I'm way more excited about this than I should be haha! Downtown is definitely a cool place. We have towns of local restaurants with awesome food. What type of things do you like to do? Are you staying in lake ann or at a hotel?

  Fish town is awesome. You should do the wineries on the Leelanau peninsula and stop at fish town. Lake Leelanau is right down the road from fish town with is in Leland and they have a distillery there called northern latitudes. 4 mini shots for free! And it's very yummy. I'm not sure what kind of food you like, but Red Ginger in down town traverse is amazing. It's like sushi and stuff with great drinks, but it's a little pricier. Another place I love is L. Mauby in suttons bay. That's where their tasting room is and it's all sparkling wine. I've lived here my whole life, it's so beautiful! You'll have to update me on where you went.

  I am in Michigan, not far from Ann Arbor.  I haven't been super regular the board these days though because we have been trying to sell our house so I've been crazy busy keeping it super clean for showings.  It sold so now I have a little more time.    Thanks!  Yes, still in the same area.  We love our community and really liked our house, but is very small and with three kiddos now and a lot of out of town family that we want to be able to stay with us when they visit we just wanted a little more space.
