This pregnancy is FLYING by for me. I can not believe I'm only 3 weeks away from the 3rd trimester! I hope everything is going well for everyone else.

Week: 22 weeks

Fruit/Veggie: papaya

Appointments/Rants/Raves/Crazy dreams:
1 week away from my next appointment where they want to recheck baby's spine. They couldn't get a good angle at my a/s. Praying that everything looks great.

I had a dream DH and I were on America's got talent. I sang and danced and got boo'd.

DH did magic and got a standing ovation. ??? Any ideas what this crazy means.

GTKY: How did you and SO meet?:
I went in a blind date to a school dance with his friend. DH came with his then GF. He said he saw me for the first time and decided he was with the wrong girl. 6 months later I happened to visit his church. He asked me out then and there. We've been together ever since (10 years)

Week: 20! I cannot believe I am half way!

Fruit/Veggie: B-A-N-A-N-A

Appointments/Rants/Raves/Crazy dreams: Had our A/S on Monday and found out we are team PINK! we are so excited. Our house has already started to fill up with glitter and ruffles. We are announcing the sex after our maternity pictures on Sunday! I have all sorts of crazy dreams, but usually they aren't birth related. Typically, they're about me and my best friends robbing food places haha.

GTKY: How did you and SO meet?: DH and I met when I was 10 years old at a friend's pool party. He was my friend's neighbor and my best friend called dibs on him. He was one of my first crushes, but he was 3 years older than me. To this day I still joke about who has dibs now 8->

Appointments/Rants/Raves/Crazy dreams: Had both our a/s and 20 week appointment. We are Team Pink (shudder at the though of all the pink my IL will buy us). I have an unnatural aversion to pink but I guess I'm going to have to get used to the color. Can we switch it so its Team something other than pink. Purple or Tutu...anything but pink. I'm open to suggestions.

GTKY: How did you and SO meet?: I interned during college with the agency we both now work for and he was my boss for the first month I was there. We became friends outside of work and started dating a year later.

we are doing a grey cream teal and soft pink nursery. I do love glitter though, but too much pink it's painful to look at

Week: 20! Halfway there!

Fruit: banana

Appointments/rants/raves:
We have our a/s October 4th. I went in to my normal OB and they said I shouldn't be worried about not feeling any movement yet, even with twins. That was a relief! They did my first glucose test and that came back normal also, yay!
I haven't been having as many crazy dreams lately- maybe because in not sleeping as well?

GTKY: My brother played traveling baseball and my family was on a trip to South Carolina (from Florida) for a tournament. My DH was there helping out with some teams and he came up and started talking to me. After a few days of bumping in to each other throughout the tournament we exchanged Facebook info, but I never heard from him!! 6 months later he friend requested me and we started talking- we dated long distance for about a year and then I moved to SC in December, we were engaged by July, and married the following March!

Fruit/Veggie: Banana!

Appointments/Rants/Raves/Crazy dreams: My A/S is next Tuesday, which feels SO much closer now than it was when I made the appointment ages ago. Super excited to see the little squirmy kicker again! My last few appointments (OB and the first trimester screening) have the doctors thinking it's a girl, but I'd love to get it confirmed if possible! We have a girl already, and are not having any more kids, so I promised my husband that if it is a girl, when we get a dog in a few years, it can be a boy (since even our cat is a girl!).

GTKY: How did you and SO meet?: Ha, um. We were just talking about how to tell our daughter (and maybe daughters!) this, since she's already started asking questions about what married means, etc. So the sanitized version is that we met in college, via friends, at a party. The maybe-when-she's-older version (but maybe not!) is that it was the summer between sophomore & junior years of college, and my roommates and I had started going to raves a bit in the spring (so that should tell you how long ago this was!), so we basically planned on raving (with the requisite, ah, enhancements) all summer long too. My one roommate had a friend who knew all the parties to go to, so we basically added ourselves to his larger group of friends. One of those friends was my now-husband, who I saw and was immediately like, "I'm going to hook up with that hot guy for sure," ha! Never expected it to last more than a week, let alone all summer, let alone, let's see... 14 years now and counting?

Also, almost all the partiers/ravers we know from that summer are now our mostly respectable friends who have careers and marriages and children of their own, ha!

Appointments/Rants/Raves/Crazy dreams: A/S yesterday - Inconclusive due to baby being curled up/ Nightmares are in full swing. Hoping it ends soon! Eeks!

GTKY: How did you and SO meet?: He was on stage performing at one of his shows and I was in the crowd. We had a lot of mutual friends, but had never met. We met that night after the show and have been by each others side ever since. One of those, "love at first sight" moments.

That was over 2 years ago and now happily married and starting our family! :x

Fruit/Veggie: mango

Appointments/Rants/Raves/Crazy dreams: We had our follow up at CHOP yesterday morning and baby's heart is perfect. So great to hear after all we went through, but it also brought up so many memories. Hard to believe how much life has changed in six months.

GTKY: How did you and SO meet?: Match.com, but we lived in the same town, went to high school together, just never met.
