Please don't judge me

Ok, so I really didn't want to ask my doctor this so I will ask you girls what you think. So I was with my ex for 4 years and we broke up and about 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. My first day of my last period was April 5th which makes me almost 25 wks. My conception day was April 19th about 3.5 weeks later I had sex with someone else. 3 days after I had sex with this other person I found out I was pregnant. There is no doubt that my ex is the father right ? I mean I'm positive I just need to hear that it's forsure !

    When was the last time you had sex with your ex?  I'm not sure how you know your exact conception date. 

    Based on the calculations you're saying you had sex with guy #2 on May 14th? is that right?  And you didn't find out you were pregnant until the 17th?

    Also @55084kaylahdo you know how long your cycles usually are?  If you're usually 28 days it sounds like you should have been expecting your period May 3rd.

    Yeah, your ex is the dad based on that timeline. If you only had sex with the other person 3 days before you found out you were pregnant, there is no way that he could be the father.

    If the only time you had sex with guy #2 is 3 days before a positive pregnancy test, I can definitively say it is biologically impossible for him to be the father.

    It takes an absolute minimum of 7-8 days after ovulation (though sex can occur up to 5 days before that) before a pregnancy test will turn positive. That means 7-13 days after sex is the earliest that a positive pregnancy test will show you conceived. Three days is biologically impossible.

    Sounds like a tricky situation - I hope your ex is willing to be part of your child's life, but I hope more than anything that you find peace and happiness with this situation!

    I found out I was pregnant less than 48 hours after I found my bf sexting with dozens of women on KIK and kicked him out of our apartment. I only even took the test bc I was planning on drinking heavily that night ..my period wasn't due for 4-5 more days. Thankfully we reconciled or I would certainly be in the same boat as you. Hopefully you all find an arrangement that works for you and your baby.

    I agree that your ex is the dad if the timeline is like you said and if you didn't have sex with anyone else that month prior to about 7 days before you took the test.

    I'm just curious - who would you want to be the dad? Or neither? Do they know you're pregnant, and would either want to be involved if they are the biological dad (or even if not)?

    CrazyMonkeyBear  I've done that! only on my cell though. and was on something so not report worthy. like a food post.... report her she doesn't like donuts! so to those that I have reported I know I did it twice :\"> I apologize. I will try and keep my fat thumbs in check whilst on my cell.

    and PP are right has to be the ex  no way a pregnancy test is going to be positive 3 days later. good luck and hope it all works out.

    If you found out you were pregnant 3 days after having sex with other guy for the first time, no there is no biologically possible way I can think of for him to be the father. Pregnancy cannot be detected until after implantation which would have taken at least a week. I'd keep the best man in baby's life, though. A genetic donor doesn't really mean much more than that. So long as you have a general family medical history on the biological father that's all you really need to keep of him. Wishing you and your family best of luck! <3
