DS is biting

My DS is 9 weeks and it has been a battle getting him back on the breast after mastitis.  Well he is finally back on and I'm thrilled!  However, he keeps biting down on my nipple really hard.  I'm not sure how to address this or stop it.  I called my LC and am waiting for her to call me back.  In the meantime, does anyone know what to do?  TIA!

    Haven't had this happen myself yet, but from what I've heard, try smushing him into your breast when he bites down.  This will make him let go, and then you can go back to nursing.  (It's also way better than pulling away, which hurts!)
