So...what are you dressing up as (if you dress up)?

I have been invited to an adult costume party the weekend before Halloween- I am pretty sure the last time I got dressed up was maybe in my early 20s?  Help me!

Bonus points for cute/ easy couple costumes.

    My girlfriends and I dressed as Jem and the Holograms a few years ago. It was a lot of fun.

    I'll be Dorothy from the wizard of oz again this year. I loved my costume last year :)

    SO dresses up also but is undecided what he wants to be. He was Ernie last year.

    I saw a sort of cute one on Pinterest. The guy was lightening and the girl looked like she'd been struck by lightening. The guy had on what appeared to be a piece of yellow felt cut to look like lightening. There was a hole for his head and it came down to about his waist. The girl had on a regular outfit that she'd cut up and made to look burned a bit. She also had an inside out umbrella that looked all burned. Kind of cute and would be fairly easy to do.
