Vaginal pain when walking?

Hey ladies,

I plan to ask my doctor too but I am currently 33 weeks and 4 days and over the course of the last week I have noticed a pain in my vaginal area when I walk. It's a quick and sharp pain and goes away quickly and then comes back once or twice over the course of a ten minute or so walk with my dog. I assume it's because my son is low and is hitting a nerve down there and it's more noticeable when I'm moving around. Based on touch and doppler my doctor suspects that he is now head down which is a change. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. It is quite painful but luckily doesn't last long. I feel him moving around in there which reassures me but this is a new feeling so just wondering if anyone else has this too. Thanks!

Yup. I walk around holding my crotch and whining to my husband that my vagina hurts.

I have something similar but it really seems to depend on the baby's position. Somedays it hurts when I go for my daily walks and other days it doesn't.

Haha yes exactly! I put my hands in my jacket pocket to hold the area where it hurts. Sorry you experience this too.

same thing here too. I am 33w5d and it has been going on for a while now. When I stand up it feels like she just going to fall right out. The pressure and strange pains are crazy.

I have had crazy pelvic pressure with this pregnancy and most movements make my pubic bone feel like it's cracking in half so you are not alone!

I'd blame baby. Little girl is laying with her head right on top of my cervix and some times I get a shooting pain down there as well. Probably her head putting pressure on a nerve or bumping against the top of my cervix. You maybe having the same issues.

I get this sometimes, too. I assume it's LO hitting a nerve.

I have been getting this too. I asked my doctor about it and she said it's likely the pubic bone separating, which is normal and just sucks. :-??

Yep have it here too and it sucks... Hurts to stand up from sitting or if I walk too much...

Same! It was worse over the weekend, it seems to come and go. Sometimes I am feeling it from the inside like I'm being headbutted in the vagina, and sometimes it feels more like RLP on the outside (like I've pulled a groin muscle).

My LO is low too. She likes to just hang out right on my bladder and cervix. I just talked to my doctor about it yesterday and she said as long as it's not a regular occurance (like a contraction) it's fine but if I notice they come every 4 minutes or on a scheduled like that to call.

Wow I am impressed you are still able to get down and do yoga... Just tying my shoelaces is enough of a workout and body contortion...

I've had the same thing going on for a few weeks and now it pretty much happens all the time, any time I'm standing.

Say hello to Lightening Crotch. One of the fun parts of pregnancy. Right there with excessive discharge, hemorrhoids and constipation. Thank god babies are cute.
