I know many of us are having some bathroom troubles so I figured some of you could relate....
I just spent over a half hour in the bathroom at work bc the 'urge' hit and I've been trying not to ignore it due to the almost constant constipation. So I figure I'll pop in quickly and go except once I get in there and get past the point of no retun...so to speak...everything stops moving. Cut to me in the work bathroom with my pants, underwear and shoes off, doing squats while coworkers knock in the door trying to get in. I missed a huge portion of a meeting and somone had to come see if I was ok. (Face palm.) In the end, it all worked out ok but I had visions of spending the night in the work bathroom and having to explain to my DH where I was.
Guess maybe a stool softener is in order. Oh ladies, it's never a dull moment around here! If you're having any constipation troubles just think of me pantsless and hiding from my coworkers. Maybe a good chuckle will help...

1. So sorry we are in the same boat but at least we are together!
And 2. Since I'm an over share and most of my irl friends have heard about my poop-capades I've gotten many suggestions- prune juice, some sort of magnesium supplement, stool softeners, a squatty potty (which I have already and is in fact really useful), more stool softeners and glycerine suppositories. Not sure what's dr approved so as always call your OB but just thought I'd pass along the suggestions!
I've decided to keep with the coffee for the pooping because I have a tilted uterus so until it flips I have even worse constipation than I did before. It's either a total no-go or the shits.
My latest bathroom craziness was last week when I all of a sudden had to vomit and though I've occasionally had a slight pee expulsion with vomiting before I hadn't gone to the bathroom in a while and let's just say it was a very good thing I was wearing a dress because at the end of the experience I was wiping up pee on the floor, vomit on the seat and goin commando until I could get home to stand in the shower and cry a little about how gross my life has become.
