Another first-time mommy finally saying Hi!

Wow, waiting for the Bump to let me post was torture! Time has been moving so slowly these last few days as all I can think about is being pregnant for the first time, how I'm going to tell people, etc :)

My EDD is June 1st. I tested positive Sunday evening (faint line, negative on the digital) and Monday morning (positive, 1-2 weeks, on the digital). My Last period started around August 25 and I'm pretty sure we conceived on September 11th. So hopefully I did my math right, this is all new to me!

I've been married to DH almost 5 years. When we had sex on the 11th he said "we just made a baby, I know it!" and I said "I think I already ovulated so probably not". Well, his intuition was right. :D

I'm a PT school counselor and PT nanny. DH is in landscaping. We're in Pittsburgh, PA (anyone else?) Looking forward to this journey with you all!

    Congrats! My O date was Sept 11 and my EDD based off that is June 4. So if your June 1 EDD is based on LMP you might need to adjust. Buuut I guess if you weren't tracking O you could have O'd before Sept 11th and caught it just in time. Just food for thought I guess.

    Welcome and congrats!
    Together since April 2004.  Married since June 19th, 2010.
     BFP #1: January 31st 2012: CP. 
     BFP #2: June 1st 2012, Due:2/8/13. Avery was born via unplanned c section on 2/13/13. 
     BFP #3: Sept. 25th, 2014. Due: 6/5/15.  MMC on 10/23/14. Confirmed complete molar pregnancy per D&C 10/29/14, 
    HCG officially negative 12/10/14.  Benched until June 2015.

    @sillywillly13 - I was confused which date took precedence! I'm 99% sure I conceived on the 11th (whether I ovulated the day before, who knows!) so maybe my due date SHOULD be the 4th.

    Just because you had sex on that day, doesn't mean the sperm reached the egg on the same day.  Generally your ovulation date is when you actually conceived.  If you weren't charting you don't actually know the day you O'd, so base your EDD off your LMP.

    FWIW, if you didn't have sex before Sept 11 than you did ovulated later than CD14, which is the basis in calculating your EDD from your LMP.

    My point here is that you EDD would be later than June 1, but since you weren't charting there is no way to estimate another date.

    Part of me wants to FIRM date, just to have one, but it seems pretty clear that I'm due somewhere AROUND June 1st, which is cool enough for me :)
