Sort of WM related- mascara

Ever since I had DD2, my eyes have been so dry. And I've found that a lot of mascara brands make it even worse.

Any recommendations for a good mascara that doesn't irritate your eyes? Especially ladies in graphic design/writers or anyone who stares at a screen a lot.

  • I use Cover Girl in the purple tube. It's lengthening and thickening, doesn't run, and doesn't make my dry eyes burn. More expensive mascaras always make my eyes burn or they run when I put drops in my eyes, no matter how hard I try to be careful (paper towel under lower eyelashes, etc.).

  • I've never noticed a drying problem associated with my mascara choice.  But my absolute favorite mascara is Chanel... it's pricey but I get compliments every time on how bright my eyes looks and how thick my lashes are.
  • i just switched to Laura Mercier and I am loving it...I also had a ton of people reccomend Lancome Defincials

So it's the Le Volume de Chanel.  I was too lazy to go back to Nordstroms and buy it so I ordered the Laura Mercier (my other cosmetics are LM) from Sephora.  And I am not happy... the Chanel is sooo much better.
  • Try Physician's Formula.

  • I've been using Bare Minerals and I love it.  I've had problems with my eyes itching if any little specks get in there, but I haven't had that problem with this.  Plus, it doesn't clump as much as others I've used.

  • I'm a writer staring at a screen all day. I use Smashbox Full Exposure mascara. I don't have any problems with it, but I also don't have dry eyes.

I heart Smashbox Full Exposure.  It's the best mascara i've ever used.

I have sensitive eyes, so it's tricky finding eye makeup products that don't make my eyes dry and water. I've tried so many eyeliners and mascaras! I've settled on marc jacobs for eyeliner and want to try their mascara as well, since the eyeliner does not irritate my eyes at all! Lancôme products always irritate my eyes, Dior mascara is super heavy, and Smashbox full exposure is only okay on my non allergy flare up days. The only one that I don't constantly feel like something's on my eyes is Clinique high definition. The downside is that it doesn't really seem to enhance my lashes.
