They got us to a room pretty quick. I am all hooked up with fluids, anti biotics, and potocin.
I'm a loose 1 cm, very close to 2 so we are in for a long day. And of course I woke up at 1am and was unable to fall back to sleep.
You ladies better bring your A game and keep me entertained!
Update. So I made it to noon until before I got the epidural. At 12:30 they removed the Foley bulb and I was at 4cm. They broke my water and I have been chilling with my visitors.
Probably won't get check for another 2 hours. But so far it has been a smooth ride.
Final update. After 17 hours of labor Baby Bryan finally decided to be born. He is 6 lbs 13 ounces (which was my birth weight too!). Pretty much was awake for 24 hours so I will be playing catch up with sleep for the foreseeable future.
Successful induction with potocin and foley bulb. I did have a 2nd degree tear after 2 hours of pushing.
He is a sweetie but his glucose levels are low and mine are still as bit high. Hoping both are really better in the next two days.
