At this stage, it is bloating, not showing. I'm right there with you. I am incredibly bloated at the moment. I can still fit in my regular pants, but I so prefer stretchy pants.
Not to be argumentative but it is not the baby. It is physically impossible. The baby is the size of a piece of rice and is tucked behind your pubic bone. I understand your need to be comfortable wear the stretchy pants. But this is all bloat.
I did not ask for opinions I asked if anyone else was showing this early.
Just to clarify I dont care if bloating is what makes me look this round and big thats fine it is still showing ladies. Because even when bloating on my period I have never bloated so much it is round and looks like a pregnant belly.
No arguing here but when you start showing in the beginning it is not the baby anyways.
It has nothing to do with being comfortable.
Just remember it is very different for each woman.
But I am showing I look like I am 4 months pregnant and this is my second child.
Dont they say second pregnancies show a lot sooner?
There was no hiding for me I am clearly pregnant.
BTW I suggest buying a pregnancy pillow. Best thing yet!!
Yes you can start showing earlier. But NOT at 5 weeks. It is physically impossible. Your uterus is still behind the pubic bone. So while you may be so bloated YOU feel like people will notice. It is more likely IF they notice they will just think your getting a little chubby. But hey if you want to push your bloat out and walk around like you're 4mo pregnant get on with your bad self.
I'm 8 weeks and have some bloating going on. No one else notices but me though. I think you will always notice changes in your own body before anyone else does. To repeat what was already beautifully stated above, you are not showing.
Don't bash all the snowflakes! I'm still a good one.

I'm having the major bloating issues too. Thank god I can still wear dresses for a while bc pants with buttons are not happening right now. My rings are also really tight which makes me think I'm retaining water like crazy.
I am bloated as fuck and look 4 months pregnant as well. But I recognize my 3 millimeter baby is not showing yet. Why is this a complicated subject on May15?
It was the same story on O14 too. Everyone was 4 weeks and "showing"
I find that the comments here can get a little hostile at times....
Not to say there are never overly snarky comments on this board...but all I see are educated, scientific statements and the original poster who is in denial. Not our fault if she doesn't want to educate herself.

I swear there has been a post on this topic everyday for the last week. For the 1000th time, nobody has a bump yet. Why is this so hard to grasp? Seriously.
I think the comments explaining the bloating are all great. Feeling that way myself. Maybe the way I've read some of the the comments I've misinterpreted them? Still trying to understand this online environment and very new to it. For instance the term "special snowflake" What is meant by that?

You are a "special snowflake" when logic, in this case actual science doesn't apply to you.
I call myself a special snowflake when polls don't have a option that fits my situation.
Ok thanks @katnhiding I'm trying to find that acronym list.
Here you go: https://may2015babies.wordpress.com/acronyms/ I use it frequently, though there are a couple things that pop up that are not on that list. One is BSC which stands for BatShitCrazy.
Also, I think regulars on the board on a whole pull a little extra sass when a question/topic comes up waaayyy too many times and a simple board or Google search could have prevented it. Tbh, that's why I haven't started any threads because I usually just piggy back on one that someone else has already started with the same issue I need addressed.
I too am sooooo bloated at 7 weeks. I feel huge and disgusting- today especially. I can't wait for the day I can justify my cute bump! For now I'm letting my hormones get the best of me and feeling large and in charge oh well! We are growing a human. So I guess all we can do is embrace the bloat belly!
I'm sympathetic, OP, because like PPs have said, pregnancy bloat is real! I read somewhere that it's related to the hormone progesterone, which increases in pregnancy. According to my RE, I have lots of it, too!
Hence, I wake up in the morning with my normal tummy, and by the end of the day, I can't close up any of my pants. Some days are worse than others. (Thank goodness for yoga pants!)
A PP mentioned this in a funny way but no joke: farting and burping help a little! I'm usually a strict anti-fart enforcer in my household, but I've had to make exceptions for myself ;P Perhaps less gross: drinking lots of water helps, too, unless you also have MS and can't stomach it. (Sparkling lime water is a little easier for me.)
Now, I've got a potentially stupid question for STMs.... When we actually start showing, does the bloat subside? Or does it stay with us (aka, we get baby plus bloat)? Does bloat continue when/if you're BFing? Just curious whether this bloat (and the gross urges that come with it) is here to stay
I'm so bloated family members are asking if I'm pregnant!!! Totally awful! But all that you can tell yourself to make it better is "this little monkey will be worth it"
Well if she gets to blame her bloat on the baby....can I claim my fat as baby?
Fo sho! I've been obviously showing off my bump for the last few years!

Lol when I first wake up in the morning I feel and look not bloated. As the day goes on, my bloat takes on a life of its own. Yesterday at lunch my DH was thinking that I was showing already ( . I had to explain the bloat to him with pictures too :P . Anywho, this is my 4th pregnancy and I'm 6wks 3days in I hope you feel better OP.
