A new car... I've had mine for 7 years. I bought it brand new and it's held up great but I'm just getting nervous with a LO on the way. ::knocking on wood::
I'm already getting a new car sometime around #2's due date, so that isn't at the top of the list. Hmmmm... Probably a super awesome baby moon or a king size bed with a bump next pillow. The queen is quickly losing room between me, my husband, the beagle and at least one, but usually two cats, not including when the toddler climbs in in the middle of the night.
Realistically : a sodastream for me, too. I love bubbles!
In dreamy dream world : a house! We are renters and I'm not in love with this place, and two weeks before we found about my pregnancy we signed another year's lease. Ugh.
We have to buy a car. Mine is 10 yrs old and my son gets his license in December and were giving it to him. My husband has a jeep that I hate. Or extra car is an antique spider convertible but it only has 2 seats, no where to put a car seat. So mama gets a new car.
I was gonna say a pregnancy pillow. But you guys have some tall orders, so I'm gonna go with new carpet! Can't have a baby crawl on this old Shiz.

U/S 10/26 (first OBGYN visit): Measuring 1 day behind and a FHR of 160 @ 8 weeks. Looks like an upside-down Teddy Graham!
I will need to buy a new truck next year. Otherwise I'll have to figure out which kid gets their seat ratchet strapped down in the bed. Kidding. A new sectional, pedicures, weekly massages, and whatever can buy me TIME so that I can read or exercise without interruption.
I was lucky enough to get a new car in May because I needed it for when we had kids, my poor Jeep is 14 years old & has many electrical issues. I still don't have it in my heart to sell it, it was "my" first car. I would say a deck on my house! I need it to enjoy summer nights outside with the new baby! ;-)
@SnowFlake84 my DH wants to replace all the carpets with laminate floors before the babies come. Me? I'm more concerned about our two cars over 10 yrs old and our tiny house. I say why put money into it when we are likely going to have to move in next few years.
We have to get a new car for me, baby or not. Good ole Sasha the Cherokee has 205,000+ miles and she's getting... tired. Plus we can't get two car seats back there.
But if I could choose something else-- a personal trainer during the pregnancy to keep me in check.
Mine would be a new house. We are hoping to put our house on the market next month and fingers crossed that we can sell and move before this baby is born. Our current layout is not ideal for a second child because our third bedroom is downstairs and away from us.
How do two rear facing car seats not fit in a Cherokee?? Did I miss something? Sorry I'm having twins so incredibly curious! And as for me, I would also do the nanny/maid thing. Someone to clean and bring me meals in bed. All I do lately is sleep!
Re: If you could buy one thing and call it a pregnancy related expense, what would it be?
Second choice: car
A cleaning service for sure. Kids and pets make the housework hard to keep up with

Yup. DS is Tommy Pickles! Nothing like living with an escape artist.
Just another cloth diapering, baby wearing mama.

I did make a shit ton of freezer meals before DS arrived, and I'll be doing the same this time. It made my life so much easier.

You can have mine! We got it as a wedding gift 2 years ago and used it twice... Most certainly it'd be a house!
