Best Nursing Bra

hello,
Just wondering if anyone has a favourite nursing bra?

I tried on a normal no underwire mothercare bra and wasn't keen on the random strap that goes down your boob to join on the bottom.

I'm due tomorrow (nothing going on yet!) and I suppose I should get one or two soon.

My boobs haven't blown yet for milk so don't want to spend too much to begin with just in case they do blow up!

I like Anita nursing bras. Bravado is also good.

  • I wouldn't buy anything until your milk comes in honestly, but I've actually had decent luck at target for inexpensive ones. I'm not 100% in love with them but I didn't want to spend a lot, as I want to wait longer to see if the size changes or anything like that.

  • I'm living in my bravado nursing tank. Expensive but supportive and comfy

  • For those of you on the target brand ones, do you know what sizes they go to? My bra size before my milk came in was ridiculous and now it's even bigger. I'm able to use the one nursing bra I have from before I delivered, but I'd like another. I was a 38f... I can work with 42ddd though, but the cups are still tight, even with the extra band size.

I can now only buy the softer, wireless kind there because they don't carry a good supportive bra in a large enough size now that the milk came in. But for the time being, I'm not working or anything, so I prefer to wear the comfort ones anyway.

  • I like the motherhood underwire ones. I bought the same one in all the colors :)

I have a really large cup size as well. When I tried the Target ones two years ago with DD#1, they didn't have enough support (I think I had to go up in band size to get a cup size they carried). I glanced at them this time around and I didn't think they'd work so I didn't bother trying any on. I do like their nursing tanks though.

  • The Motherhood sleep bras are great, but I hate their regular nursing bras.  I will be checking out Target once baby is here and my milk comes in.

  • I actually live in these super stretchy spandex maternity bras, easy to just pull down my shoulder and have my breast out for DS, also incredibly comfortable and fits easily no matter if my breasts are "empty" or really engorged. I tried other ones but unless purchased while engorged they become uncomfortable if I am. I would just find something you're comfortable with (plus these bras were less than ten dollars each and super versatile!)
  • I also agree with Target bras! I bought a two pack of the nursing sleep bras and they rock. Just perfect for wearing around the house and going out for errands. But they run smaller so I got the next size up.
