Help me plan dinner! We are having friends and their 2 month old over for dinner tomorrow. I can't figure out what to make. It's supposed to be rainy but a high of 70.
I want something delicious and fairly easy and I'm just blanking. No food restrictions, and we had chili last time they came over.
Re: Dinner Dilemma
I like to make either a gravy (some people call it sauce, I don't know what to tell those people) and meatballs with some pasta and a nice big salad, or a roasted chicken.
They're my favorite meals to make for company because, like chili, a lot of the prep work is done in advance and you can tidy up the kitchen before company shows up... Minimal work once they are there and you are trying to entertain (with two babies, no less!)
Have fun!
I vote for Cajun chicken pasta on Skinnytaste.com. I found this site/recipe from the Monday Meal Planning thread. It was really good -- I might even add some shrimp to it. I think it's @ugabamafans DH favorite meal.
