Well, I am laying on the couch all day trying to breathe. Looking for Netflix suggestions. Just watched WWZ, watching a documentary on the Alcatraz escape now.
@ExcitedMama2 Blackfish made me despise all places that hold animals in captivity. I felt so helpless after watching it because want to save ALL animals and I can't.
I recommend: -Tv series: Orange is the New Black Weeds Dexter Parenthood Sons of Anarchy The Office Breaking Bad
-Documentaries: Dear Zachary So much, So Fast Blackfish Happy Forensic Files How to Die in Oregon

Why are you having trouble breathing?
Thinking nasty cold combined with asthma combined with 25 week fetus. My lung capacity is diminished (see my other thread today, any tips for breathlessness.). It really bites; I feel awful even just parked on the couch.
Months ago, someone mentioned Call the Midwife. I had never heard of it and found it on Netflix. I'm obsessed. I was so upset because I had finished the 2nd season...and apparently Netflix heard my bitching and released the 3rd season!
In Canada best series I've watched/watch are: Orange is the new black, Breaking bad and 2 I watched entire series that I hadn't even heard of but loved were: Reaper and Life both of those shoes were amazing.. Aside from shows I love documentaries but a warning about one mentioned above even though I liked it and have watched it more than once it is very sad and I'm not sure I would watch it while pregnant.
If you're into total nonsense tv, I just finished watching "Melissa and Joey". It's not award winning or anything, but it's light and fun. Currently working my way through "Gossip Girl"...again, brainless but I enjoy it.
Also agree with others: Orange is the New Black and Call the Midwife.
NOT Dawson's creek!!!! ::grumble:: Also Gilmore girls isn't out until October, I think.
I've never seen orange is the new black. I started an episode yesterday - no one told me there was massive breasts and lesbian sex within the first 10 min, haha!
I started parenthood, also.
(Zoe Claire- born at 33.6 weeks- November 19, '14 - 5lbs 15oz)
Shows not shoes... And the documentary I'm talking about is Dear Zachary.
Oh my god i totally agree about the warning. please watch this only if you know you can emotionally handle it. I cried so hard watching it and that was before I had kids. This is not a great doc to watch when pregnant and emotional.
"THE KILLING." I've only gotten through 2 seasons of 4, but the first two go together and then the subsequent 2 I guess are separate cases/murders. Obviously another vote for "Orange is the new black". "Damages" was pretty good as well.
@elleswarth My sister keeps telling me to watch The Killing, she says it's really good. I was going to start it tonight.
Also I forgot to mention in my original post that American Horror Story (can't wait for season 4!) and Bates Motel are pretty good too(if you like scary).
Ah, may I suggest movies as opposed to series? Heh
Tucker & Dale vs Evil (Dark Comedy/HorrorComedy) Fido (zombie/comedy) The Seasoning House (suspense. Might be a bit too much to watch for some; abusive themes involved, but still very good) After the Dark ( VERY good dark philosophy type of movie, definately worth a look) The Collector (horror, not bad. I believe the second one was called "The Collection", and was also good)
And these next two, though I'm not sure if they're on Netflix, are also worth a look You're Next (horror/thriller) Sanitarium (psychological/documentary-esque)
House of Cards and Orange is the new black are addicting. Hubby and I just started Breaking Bad and its good so far. I'm also going to start watching Parenthood.
Just finished Royal Pains :-) Sorry you cant catch your breath.... what's up with that? ETA: nevermind, just read your answer in PP. Hope its resolved now!

<p align="center"Cosmos with Neil Degrasse Tyson if you are in to documentaries.
The Tudors isn't terrible if you like that sort of thing, although Jonathan Rhys Meyers was a disastrous casting choice.
