Okay. Those were my thoughts. The guy at Subway asked how far along I was..... I felt huge at that point.

And there is no sticking out my stomach. If anything I'm holding it in. It's my 5th pregnancy. And the pictures are of 7&8 weeks.
  • To be honest, I would think you were pregnant if I saw you on the street. I wouldn't, however, have said anything.

    This exactly

  • You look bloated, like the rest of us. Whether this is your first or your 10th baby, no one's baby is big enough for that to be a bump. The majority of us are rocking the same kind of blump.

  • Agree with pp, don't know what you looked like before so hard to say. Best wishes!

  • You didn't even tell us how many weeks you were!

    Are you even pregnant?

Seriously, you look how i do.

  • I would say you look pregnant for sure but not sure I can say how far along. I'm a FTM and not familiar with how women look during different weeks of pregnancy, but I was surprised to see it was 8 weeks, but I have heard you show earlier if it's not your first pregnancy.

  • You look thinner/less bloated in the first photo - quit slouching.
  • I would think you are pregnant. It doesn't look like bloat to me. And let's be honest, who in the hell gets that bloated when they're not pregnant?!
  • I'd say leftover baby belly...honestly. I look like that now and it's cuz I can't poop. (See me complaining in other posts). What kills is that I rocked a six pack and I have 2 other kids and I didn't exercise. Thanks metabolism and genetics! Now I have a blump outta this world so I've been trying to suck it in the past two weeks at work. Congrats on your bloat, however.
  • I wasn't looking for much. I should have started out with how the guy at Subway asked how far along I was. I was only 7 weeks when he asked. And as for before I had basically a flat stomach with a touch of belly fat, which really wasn't noticeable. And yes, after my third, I got big fast. Being my 5th it is even bigger. I have one pair of pants that fit and maternity clothes are fitting already.

I was just shocked he asked. He was older though and meant no harm. I didn't show until about 15 weeks with my first and didn't gain a pound until then either. My second I started showing about 10 weeks. My third was about 8. My fourth was about 8. And this one about 7. I can honestly say is has nothing to do with not pooping (tmi---I've done plenty of that. :-) LOL)

My friend who is further along than me was the same size in my pictures above at 12-14 weeks. So I feel huge compared to her. I am certain I will pass her up in size and she's due in December. :-/ She exercises a lot and hardly eats much. And when she does it is healthy/ low fat.

I feel big and then he asked and my friend is small....... I guess I let my emotions get me down about it all snowballing at once.

Thanks for listening to me vent.
  • Hahaha! I've learned first hand ..... and have always been told....... DO NOT ASK A WOMAN IF SHE IS PREGNANT! Unless you can see the baby come out?! Bahahaha

I asked a woman in Walmart when she was due..... ***seconds later (with a death glare)*** By the way she looked about 7 months pregnant... She said, "I JUST HAD MY BABY!" Sheepishly, I said oh.
  • Weak tummy muscles and lordosis.  I'm the same way.  I get asked by people if I'm pregnant sometimes (working with nurses and elderly people, all they see is babies.) even when I was very very unpregnant.  People see what they want to see and stick their smelly, annoying feet in their mouths.
  • I would think you are pregnant. It doesn't look like bloat to me. And let's be honest, who in the hell gets that bloated when they're not pregnant?!
People with gastrointestinal issues, that's who. Seriously - come one.
Or people who've had babies before. Your stomach muscles are never the same.
or people who deal with both... (I always tried to compensate by working out an insane amount... it worked, but the IBS bullshit still sucked ass. Surprisingly, pregnancy seems to make it slightly better... I'm actually able to absorb nutrients again. Boooooooooooyah!

  • Dang I mean "come on". And too late to edit because I've been quoted. **facepalm**
