I downloaded what I thought was a video player to watch Dawsons Creek (we will not discuss the addiction, Ive accepted I won't be able to watch it) Well la di da I downloaded some sort of plug in and its annoying as fuck opening weird windows when Im online. Especially on the bump. It has also turned everyones siggy pics into advertisements. Who can link me to solving this issue. Im afraid the genius bar is going to charge me if I make an appt.

It sounds like you have adware. Download the free AVG and run a scan. Dump all programs AVG marks as harmful, then dump AVG

@comeongetdown you hate it? omg I LOVE IT! 1st problem Ive had in 10 years owning one and it was my own fault.

@letsgotodisney When I go to delete AVG I'm just putting it in the trash correct?

Thanks for the tip on it being called adware. That was such an easy fix once I knew what to search. If anyone else is experiencing it go to the website for this free download the poster lists. Worked great!
