TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.

QOTW: My productivity is variable. I have a little left for work, but I think that's only because the end is in sight and I really don't have too much left to wrap up. I've been much more productive at home, getting things in the nursery sorted out and finishing up my shopping.
I'm not that thrilled about induction, but obviously I wasn't bothered by it enough to switch providers. Plus my practice has assured me that they will start with the lowest doses of the synthetic hormones possible and only increase the dosage if and when I say I'm ready, so I'm comfortable with their approach.
If your OB will let you go to 40 weeks, that's great!
ETA: Also, I got to look at the on call sheet for my OB practice and picked a time when the docs I like the best will be at the hospital.
And here is some light reading on l&d practices for preexisting and gestational diabetics. https://www.glowm.com/section_view/heading/Diagnosis and Management of Diabetes Mellitus in Pregnancy/item/162

Diet has been going well. Been getting high readings today but a dinner at a fancy steak house will do that to a girl!
I have found lots of snacks that have a great balance of carbs/proteins that are prepackaged so that has helped a great deal.
I have cheated a bit more in the last couple of weeks. I had 3 cookies this weekend and blueberry cheesecake last night. I did eat a good deal of protein to help balance them out but what satisfaction it was.
I am 39 weeks tomorrow and I am waiting to hear from my OB on when they plan on inducing me.
QOTW: Is anyone being productive these days (either at work or at home)? I have been productive at work. One my replacements started last week and it is so weird to keep handing my work off. So now my desk is so clean and pretty! Just a few random things to tackle so I am feeling like huge progress has been made.
I am keeping up at home but it could use a deep cleaning and honestly I do not have the inclination to do that. But dishes and laundry are done so I am calling that a win!
@poca1313...my snacks are not the most cost effective. I have been buying Luna Protein bars (19g carbs, 12g protein) and Nut-ration Peanut mixes by Planters (19g carbs, 10g protein).
I have been "splurging" on them (boxes of each run close to $7) but they are so portable and easy.

It's a GIRL!!!
I was loving my high risk list - took a pic and sent it to my girlfriend saying 'thank god I am already knocked up - who would want to procreate with this!'
I had my shower yesterday - don't recommend a shower at 36w if you are allowing people to post pics of you to social media - and indulged in some pizza with salad. My blood sugar after an hour was 124. So had cake as a late night sack, 84 fasting. This GD is all over the place.
