How long until your pregnancy hormones were all gone?

I had a D&C two weeks ago, my follow up appointment is tomorrow. I wanted to take a test before going to see where I stood with hormones. I took a digital test and it said I was pregnant 1-2 weeks, which shows me that they at least did drop because back in July when I got a positive test it said I was 2-3 weeks. How often should I take a test? They also didn't check my levels at either appointment although I was going to ask if they would do that tomorrow.

It took me about 4 weeks, but it can vary.

It took me between 2wks and a couple months. It really depends on how high they were to start with and how your body handles it.

Not all doctors follow hCG levels, it's usually only done if a complication is suspected. I wouldn't worry too much about it. But always feel free to ask your doctor. Since he has all your numbers he should be able to give you a better guess. But that's all it is, a guess.

They tested my urine at the dr and it came back negative, however she told me that the test i took was probably stronger because the one they do you could get a negative and be a week or two pregnant. I would think in another week or so they would be close to gone. Its been two weeks today.

My DNC was on 8/28 (10-12 weeks preg). The OBGYN who did my procedure said that they did not need to test for HCG after. My fertility people insisted that I do test. 3 weeks after it was a measly 8.3! But they made me come in again today at close to 4 weeks after DNC and I am finally down to zero.

@petitchou1019‌ I called doc on Monday and they took blood. My HCG level is now 109. I haven't heard back yet about a plan, if any. My numbers at my D&C were 209,000! It wasn't ectopic or molar, just super high. I'm guessing this is why it's slowly dropping but I will find out tomorrow what they say.

@petitchou1019‌ I've been monitored for weeks, as they were concerned with my slow dropping betas, I had a "thickened uterine lining" that took its sweet time shedding, and then my levels started to drop quite quickly. They were 8000 the day I m/c, 4000 three days later, 1700 thirty days post, 490 thirty seven days post, and 96 at 48 days post. I got my period at 50 days post, so they have stopped testing. It's been a pretty taxing 50 days to say the least! I do have a blood draw next week before a procedure, so it should be less than 5 by then.
