At one point they asked if I wanted a mirror (which I declined) and at another point they asked if I wanted to touch DS' head (apparently it was "right there"), which I also declined.

With Emma I was not offered a mirror. They had to use forceps and nobody wants to see that (in fact, DH still talks about how traumatizing it was to him to see me hurt like that). With Drew they offered and I declined.

Nope. They told me to look down there. I couldn't really see past my huge fawking belly and I was like "whatever dude, just yank her out and be done with this."

They never offered a mirror for either. DS they told me to feel his head with my hand, which I did, and was weirded out by it. For DD, they never told me.

With DD (which is child #2), when the doctor said here's her head, DH told me later he was thinking, "that's a head?"

No time for mirrors, but they did have me reach down and feel. DH did watch (even though I told him some things you can't unsee) and he is glad he did.

I had specifically asked for NO mirrors, yet they pulled one out anyways. Luckily I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't see shit. BUT I could still kinda make it out and I had no idea vaginal lips could get that HUGE….I could gone without seeing that. I did end up with a c/s though.
