I use them. I have Dr. longerot. She is great! I've never had to wait long for my appt and whenever I see her I always feel like she gives me all the attention that I need.
Yes, they are great. I've heard wonderful things about Dr. Zepeda and Dr. Dryden from other moms and co-workers. Dr. Zepeda is one of the founders of the practice and has 8 children himself. I heard Dr. Dryden is fabulous, but is so popular, she only takes patient referrals. I personally have Dr. Perez and think she's been very attentive thus far. Each time I go there for my appointment, the staff is friendly and I don't have to wait long. They also promote paperwork to be done online. Very efficient.
The practice is located in the new Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women which is the BEST place in Houston to have your baby because of how they truly cater to the mothers, baby and family during the entire pregnancy and delivery process. They also promote breastfeeding and offer classes, especially right after you deliver.
The hospital itself offers free comprehensive tours, so register for one and see for yourself!
I delivered with the midwives at The Women's Specialists of Houston for DS in June 2012, and am planning to deliver DD this November with them as well. They are really wonderful. I saw Dr. Zepeda when I was postpartum with my son because of a pelvic floor issue I developed after delivery, and he was super comforting and attentive. All around, I have only ever experienced positives with this practice- they are SUPER on top of their game regarding paperwork, billing, and running on time. LOVE them!
jdelosreyes13 - are you still liking Dr Perez? I'm having to find a new doctor and am considering her. I wanted to go with Dr Dryden since a good friend of mine raves about her, but I couldn't get an appt soon enough! (I'm not yet pregnant, and the new patient appts were for 5 months from now!)
