I do! We have a playlist on Spotify and it calms him during the day and we sing it to him at night. He loves it! We're pretty excited about that cuz DH and I are both music lovers.
I sing to help DS relax and fall asleep. I'm not very good but my kids don't care. And we play music (Pandora's jammie jams station) to help DD take a better nap on weekends when she's not at daycare.
We use a white noise machine and the waves sound on one of our white noise apps.
I'm being featured in a new pregnancy/motherhood blog during the month of October, so if you ever wanted to know more about my pregnancy, birth, and motherhood experiences than anyone ever should, check out my posts in the link below!
DS is currently sleeping in the mamaroo most nights, so we have just been using the white noise sounds on there. During the day he usually naps in the RNP and we typically have on the tv, radio, dog barking, dishwasher running etc....so it is definitely not quiet.
DD has a bunch of the rockabye baby cd's. She sleeps to those. I haven't started anything like that for DS yet. Once we start getting a routine for bedtime I will start it for him too.
Me! I have a playlist on my I tunes and I flip it on for DS. Even better, my mom just bought the baby Einstein mobile for A and we'll start using it tomorrow when/if I can figure out the best way to mount it near the bassinet! I love that this mobile plays more than just lullaby.
