Period type pains?! :/!

Hi. I've not had a particularly straight forward pregnancy and have a subchorionic haemtoma in my uterus but not affecting baby bled heavily all throughout but last 2 weeks nothing :
However, last 48 hours I've been getting pains period type pains in my tummy and down my right leg/thigh. I'm 16 weeks and 5 days today. Anyone else experienced this around this time? Also back pain very low down? Am I being a hypochondriac? ; x

    Hey! I had the exact same thing but when I mentioned it to the doc she said it was normal! Uterus stretching and making room for the babe! Good luck and try not to worry!:

    As your uterus stretches it can be very uncomfortable. As long as their is no bleeding you should be ok. Try not to stress out. Its normal, but a PITA.

    I've got the same deal happening.  I'm 16 weeks 6 days and I've got some cramping on my left and down into my groin and back.  Just stretching.

    I actually had period-like cramps for the first few weeks and they have started again recently. It's probably normal but you should check with your doctor at your next visit.

    I had period-like cramps off and on throughout pregnancy. I think a lot of the time they were braxton hicks. Definitely talk to your doctor since it will help you have peace of mind, but for better or for worse so many of these pains are normal for pregnancy! :)

    I have been having period like cramps on and off since I was 5 weeks... My doctor told me as long as it wasn't severe and no blood it was ok... But if you are worried, call your doctor.

    I know this is an old post but it has addressed my exact concern and I feel a lot better now!!! Will still ask OB at next appointment!! 2 weeks to go!!!
