You wear a nonmaternity button down at 9mo pregnant and it still fits b/c you had to get a XXL to try to avoid (unsuccessfully) the boob gap.
Also, does anyone else notice the not-pregnant optical illusion if you're standing straight on? I included a side view b/c I thought my first picture looked kind of bizzare considering I'm 38 weeks. I guess it really is all out front!

Haha. I don't have a problem with my boobs but my belly is the exact height if my 2 year old and I always hit him in the head with my stomach when he is standing near me bc I'm not used to it being so big!

I walked across my room to get a bra the other day and by the time I got to the other side a piece of bubble wrap was caught in between my boobs and belly.. I mean really... How does this happen? I miss my teen year mosquito bite boobs.

Being pregnant makes my boobs look small (ok, just in comparison to my bump, I'm a 34ddd). Love it. Then come the giant nursing boobs ugh!

no joke!! I am a 32F right now and my boobs look tiny and so does my butt. it is trickery.

I'm just overall big right now! I do have a bump and it is noticeable but it isn't really out there...I gain baby weight everywhere so my normally 36DDD boobs are like a 38GodOnlyKnoiws now. And my legs are HUGE. But same, from the front it just looks like I've put on weight (a lot of weight) and from the back I'm pretty much normal...not even waddling yet (thanks DH for that observation)

Me too, it's so bizzare that they seem small, but in comparison to my bump, anything would...haha (I'm a 36 DD usually and a 38F right now)

My bump is just now starting to stick out past my 36DDD boobs at 35wks. Anyone else just completely over bras right now? I seriously wish I could justify going without, but I think there's actually something in the AFI about appropriate undergarments.

I hate bras right now! That is the first thing I take off when I get home. I don't put one on unless I absolutely have to!

YES!! I was just telling one of my friends that I am seriously considering boycotting bras. Because I have a desk job, my boob/belly shelf is in full force all day long. It causes my bra to chafe my torso and it HURTS. I'm in a 38DDD right now. I hate big boobs! And I even had a reduction in 2007 but they just got big again.

I exclusively switched to non-underwire since maybe 24 weeks, but I'd rather wear bras than feel giant boobs on humongous belly. Especially if it's a little hot and everything's sticky. I wind up tucking my shirt under my boobs so I can't feel skin on skin.

This must be what balls feel like when they're stuck to a guy's leg... but way less gross.

Our boobs and bumps are similar. I'm a 32G right now and found wearing non-maternity clothes in plus sizes works much better in the bust than maternity. From the back though, I don't even look pregnant. People comment with surprise when I turn sideways.

On a similar note, I now realize how many GIGANTIC pieces of pre-pregnancy clothes I own. Why are so many of my clothes big enough to house an 8.5 mo. pregnant belly?

I wonder about this, too. I bought a few things just a size up to get me through the awkward not-quite-ready-for-maternity-clothes stage back in February, and they still fit well enough. Meanwhile, I've completely outgrown most of the maternity tops and dresses that I was advised by the store sales people to by in my pregnancy size.

I don't have big boobs but I always have trouble with button-downs due to the "boob gap". My ribs are super huge so it makes things with buttons not fit. And I still wear plenty of non-maternity clothes somehow. It makes me question my styling efforts when not knocked up.

I wish I had this problem... 35 weeks and my boobs haven't changed at all really I am still a wimpy 32B and barely fill out my bra. DH swears that they are bigger though. Here's to hoping to getting breastfeeding boobs.
